AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS (AUGUST 27,2025): PHILADELPHIA,PA.

“It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means …” are the first words we hear from Excalibur, as we settle inside the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. We see Excalibur standing at ringside along with Tony Schiavone and “the human Suplex Machine” Taz.
After the three welcome the viewing audience at home to tonight’s broadcast, they mention the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door: London pay-per-view from over the weekend. Excalibur points out that Will Ospreay will not be here tonight after what happened at the end of Sunday’s show.
Adam Copeland & Christian Cage Brawl With FTR To open The Show
The familiar sounds of FTR’s theme hits to bring out Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler,accompanied by “Big” Stokely Hathaway. While walking to the ring,Wheeler stops and gets in a fans face,who in return gets right back in his in intense fashion. Wheeler refuses to back down so this continues for a good few seconds.
FTR settles inside the squared circle, but when Harwood tries to begin speaking to officially start the in-ring promo segment, we quickly come to realize that his microphone is not working. We spend a few seconds waiting for them to get a microphone that works.
Harwood then begins to talk and mentions a miscarriage of justice at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door: London pay-per-view. fans loudly chant “Shut the f**k up!” as he continues to talk.They bring in referee Paul Turner and demand he admit he was wrong and reverse his decision from Sunday.
He tells him he also wants him to inform his family, his wife and his children at home that he is bad at his job and that he messed up. He then wants him to reverse his decision from Forbidden Door and officially announce FTR as the new AEW World Tag-Team Champions.
Turner says his decision stands. “Big” Stoke loses his cool. He gets on the mic and gets in Turner’s face and now he tries to intimidate him. Turner pushes Stoke. Wheeler pushes the hell out of Turner.As they continue to rough up the defenseless ring official,the iconic sounds of Metalingus’ “One Day Remains.”
Adam Copeland makes his way out, with the crowd loudly singing his theme song. The commentators question where christian Cage is. Just as they do, we see Cage fly into the camera shot and begin beating down FTR. Copeland quickly joins him and the brawl spills into the crowd and back into the ring.

The Death Riders Attack orange Cassidy
The show opened with The Death Riders – Nicholas Sampson, Jason Hotch, and “Stockade” Steiner – attacking Orange Cassidy outside the ring. They continued the assault, spitting on Cassidy as they left through the crowd.
Yuta Confronted by HOOK
following the attack, Yuta took to the microphone, expressing his frustration with the fans and the lack of support for himself and other wrestlers like Will Ospreay, Chuck Taylor, and Bryan Danielson. His rant was interrupted by the return of HOOK, accompanied by his new theme music. A brawl ensued, ending with HOOK locking Yuta in the Red-Rum finisher untill he passed out.
MJF Reveals Stipulation Change For His Casino Gauntlet Contract
In a backstage interview, a bloodied MJF addressed his loss to Hangman Page at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door: London. He revealed that Tony Khan has changed the terms of his Casino Gauntlet contract, now requiring him to announce his title shot in advance.MJF vowed that when the time comes, he won’t be challenging for the title, but for Hangman Page’s soul.
Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford vs. Harley Cameron & Kris Statlander
Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford faced off against Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander. The match featured back-and-forth action, with Statlander and Ford starting things off. After a commercial break, Statlander entered the ring with momentum, hitting a fisherman driver for a near-fall. Ford and Bayne fought back, setting up Harley for a potential finish.

All Star 8-Man Tag Team Match
A chaotic opening tag team match saw Brody King, Bandido, Michael Bailey, and JetSpeed take on The Don Callis family (Konosuke takeshita, Alexander, Hechicero, and Kevin Knight). The match quickly spilled outside the ring with brody King sending Bandido and JetSpeed onto The Don Callis Family.
Following a commercial break, the action continued with a flurry of offense from both sides. Tension arose between Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita,culminating in a shoving match. Ultimately, Alexander secured a roll-up pin on Bailey after dodging a shooting star knee-drop, giving The Don Callis family the win.

Hangman Page & Kenny Omega Reunite
After the match, Hangman page addressed the crowd, expressing well wishes to Will Ospreay and then turning his attention to MJF, promising to defeat him before he can even sign a contract for a title match. Don Callis interrupted, claiming Page only won the title due to Kenny Omega’s weakness and declaring his intention to bring the championship back to The Don Callis Family.
Callis summoned his Family to surround Page,but jetspeed intervened. A beatdown ensued, with Callis providing a steel baton. Just as things looked dire for Page and JetSpeed, Kenny Omega’s music hit. Omega rushed the ring, taking down Archer and assisting Bailey in clearing the ring.
Page and Omega then delivered a combined Buckshot Lariat and V-Trigger to Archer, sending a clear message to The Don Callis Family. the former tag team champions embraced, alongside JetSpeed, as The Don Callis Family regrouped on the outside.
AEW Trios Championships
The show concluded with the declaration of a future AEW Trios Championship match between current champions The Opps and the team of Ricochet & The Gate.
Darby Allin Defeats Claudio Castagnoli in Grueling Match, Targeted by The Death Riders Post-Match
Darby Allin emerged victorious against Claudio Castagnoli in a brutal encounter on this week’s wrestling show, but the win was overshadowed by a post-match attack from NJPW star Gabe Kidd and the rest of The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli and Jon moxley).
