A New Media Powerhouse in Manhattan
Broadcasting icon Elvis Duran, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, and producers Mitchell Stuart and Michael Canzoniero have launched Podrophenia. Based in New York City, the creator development company operates out of the existing MCM Studios facility in Manhattan, offering end-to-end production, distribution, and marketing services for podcasters and vodcasters.
Building Scalable Media Properties
The venture is a strategic partnership between The Elvis Duran Group, Looking4Larry, and MCM Studios. Its business model centers on transforming individual creator ideas into scalable media properties. By bridging the broadcast reach of the Elvis Duran Podcast Network and iHeartMedia with the technical infrastructure of MCM Studios, the group aims to offer a “full-service ecosystem” for talent.

Paul Heyman, an entertainment executive, emphasized that the studio is built to be customized to a host’s specific personality rather than relying on a “turnkey” approach. Elvis Duran echoed this sentiment, noting that the partnership allows for high-level production capabilities and provides an opportunity to compete with major media players.
Professional-Grade Production Assets
Podrophenia utilizes the established MCM Studios facility to house the hardware required for high-quality audio and video storytelling. The site features sound-controlled studios, customizable sets, broadcast-quality audio, and cinematic lighting systems. It also includes post-production suites, collaborative workspaces, and dedicated green rooms for talent.
MCM Studios is no stranger to high-stakes content; the facility has previously hosted production projects for Diary of a CEO, Hot Ones, and various corporate clients. This foundation gives creators immediate access to professional-grade equipment and support staff.
Targeting the Creator Economy
The company plans to develop a slate of original programming spanning sports, lifestyle, culture, and business. The inaugural series, Hello Randy, features host Randy Fenoli and is slated for distribution through the Elvis Duran Podcast Network and iHeartMedia later in 2026.
Mitchell Stuart, co-founder of Looking4Larry and Podrophenia, argues that modern podcasting requires more than just recording equipment. The company’s strategy addresses the “creator economy” by providing audience growth strategies, marketing support, sponsorship and monetization pathways, and strategic distribution to maximize reach within audio ecosystems.
Navigating a Crowded Market
Podrophenia arrives as the podcasting industry faces increased competition for listener attention. By integrating production, marketing, and distribution under one entity, the founders are positioning the company to assist creators who are transitioning from independent podcasting to building sustainable media franchises. The industry should expect additional original programming announcements throughout the remainder of 2026.
