Aimee Lou Wood to Star in New ‘Jane Eyre’ TV Adaptation
Following the recent success of Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, another classic of English literature is heading to the screen. Aimee Lou Wood, known for her roles in Sex Education and The White Lotus, is set to star in a new television adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre.
Working Title and Creative Team
The series is being developed by Working Title, the British production company behind acclaimed period dramas such as Pride & Prejudice (2005) and Emma (2020). They are also currently working on a new adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones [Source: The Hollywood Reporter].
