A horrifying case of pedophilia, sexist violence and murder has shaken Peru for the hard and brutal of its details. Juan Carlos Peralta Chanca, an 18-year-old man, has been arrested in this South American country for the rape and murder of his 11-month-old daughter. The baby has been found dead with a blow to the head in the family home in Huachipain Lima.
The gruesome case also has a horrible beginning as the baby was born as a result of her father’s rape of the little girl’s mother when she was just a 14-year-old girl. The grandmother of the deceased girl has also acknowledged that her daughter suffered constant rape and sexual abuse by this individual.
The man has acknowledged the sexual abuse of his almost newborn daughter and has confessed that he sexually assaulted her in the morning and went to work. As he has said in the interrogation to which he has been subjected, he found the little girl unconscious when she returned home.
The girl was taken with her mother to the Bravo Chico Hospital in El Agustino, where the doctors confirmed the sexual abuse. There was little they could do to save her life as the baby arrived with a severe blow to the head with a hard blunt object, which caused head trauma and a subdural hematoma on the left side of the head.
“We demand justice for both, these kinds of cases should not occur. No to impunity! Peru, a country of rapists in which we are born and die as a result of rapes. machismo kills“, the feminist organization Manuela Ramos indicated on Twitter.
