A report by Malware Fox points to the open-source nature of Android as a key reason it’s often targeted.Android apps can be easily modified,unlike those on iOS.
“It’s easy for cyber criminals to get into Android devices using harmful apps. These programs include Trojans, Adware, spyware, Keyloggers, and more,” the report states.
One frequent issue found in Android apps is requesting unnecessary permissions. Apps frequently enough ask for access to things they don’t need to function,like your contacts,location,or camera. This gives them opportunities to collect your information.
