Céline Farré Aims to Revitalize Crespian as Mayoral Candidate

Crespian, Gard – Céline Farré, a 44-year-old mother of two and a current member of the Crespian municipal council, is running for mayor in the upcoming elections as the head of the “Un village dynamique, un futur partagé!” (A dynamic village, a shared future) list. Her campaign centers on enhancing the well-being of the village and preparing it for future challenges.

Background and Experience

Originally from Toulouse, Farré has lived in Crespian for approximately twenty years. She currently works as a territorial civil servant in the municipalities of Corconne and Pompignan, bringing her professional experience to her political aspirations. She was first elected to the Crespian municipal council in 2020.

Motivations for Running

Farré’s decision to run for mayor stemmed from dissatisfaction with the direction taken after the previous mayor, Pascale Vandamme, resigned. Following Vandamme’s departure, Alain Trochar was elected with minimal opposition. Farré and her team felt it was important to remain true to their original vision for the commune and offer an alternative path.

The “Un village dynamique, un futur partagé!” list aims to invigorate Crespian while preserving its village character. Key priorities include fostering community gathering spaces, protecting and improving the local environment, and ensuring transparent and responsible municipal management.
