Classroom integration for more than 1,200 educators
In Córdoba, Argentina, more than 1,200 teachers have taken part in professional development centered on artificial intelligence, digital capabilities, technological innovation and inclusion.
The initiative, run through cooperation between the provincial Ministry of Education and the International University of La Rioja (UNIR), aims to strengthen continuous teacher training, digital transformation and educational innovation.
Minister Ferreyra and UNIR evaluate teacher training and Campus Innova Futuro
Education Minister Horacio Ferreyra met with UNIR’s academic director of international relations, Manuel Herrera, and UNIR Argentina’s director of international relations, Aldana Rodríguez Vlk, to evaluate the actions carried out and project new proposals for continuous teacher training.
The agenda also included analysis of UNIR’s postgraduate offerings and their possible articulation with the province’s higher education system. During the session, Minister Ferreyra presented the “Campus Innova Futuro” platform as a space for educational development and linkage with UNIR, exploring joint work and an agenda that connects professional development with the needs of the provincial education system.
“We shared an evaluation of the actions we have already carried out together with UNIR and we are projecting new proposals for continuous teacher training,” Ferreyra noted.
Scaling the digital curriculum through 2027
The partnership addresses the challenges of teaching and learning in a context of technological transformation. A UNIR representative confirmed that the cooperation will continue, with digitalization and artificial intelligence as central themes.
“We are even planning to launch a whole series of scientific and training meetings for 2027, always with digitalization and artificial intelligence in the background, which are great challenges for public and private institutions in the 21st century,” Herrera stated.
Training prioritizes artificial intelligence and digital capabilities for educators
The training prioritized artificial intelligence, digital capabilities, technological innovation and inclusion. These programs strengthened educators’ capabilities and incorporated new tools for teaching.
Currently, the Ministry is analyzing UNIR’s postgraduate offerings and the possibilities of articulating them with the province’s higher education system. The objective is to expand professional development opportunities for teachers and enrich teaching and learning in institutions.
