Coury Hospitality to Manage Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, Announces Further Expansion
DALLAS, Texas-Coury Hospitality has been chosen to oversee the management of the hard Rock Hotel San Diego, beginning July 1, 2025. This collaboration will integrate coury’s operational expertise and innovative event programming into one of southern California’s most iconic hotels.
Paul Coury, CEO and founder of Coury Hospitality, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We see a strong alignment between our companies. Both Hard Rock Hotel San Diego and Coury Hospitality prioritize delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for guests,with a focus on live entertainment and engaging activations that define modern lifestyle hospitality.” He continued, “We are proud to partner with Tarsadia Investments, the ownership group, and excited to welcome this celebrated property to our expanding California portfolio. We’re confident our signature approach will enhance the guest experience and maximize operational performance.”
The hard Rock Hotel San Diego features 420 guest rooms and 40,000 square feet dedicated to meeting and event facilities, making it Coury Hospitality’s largest managed property. Guests can also enjoy 17 uniquely themed rock Star Suites, a rooftop pool with exclusive cabanas, the expansive 9,170 square foot Legends ballroom, and a diverse range of dining options. These include the relaxed 207 lobby bar and lounge, the stylish Float Rooftop Bar boasting panoramic city views, and Maryjane’s Diner, a contemporary American diner infused with Southern California flavors.

Beyond the addition of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, Coury Hospitality is actively growing its portfolio with several new ventures, including the opening of two hotels and the rebranding of three existing properties:
New Hotel launches
AC Hotel Bentonville (Bentonville, Arkansas): Opened in May, this 150-room hotel is conveniently located on the walmart Campus and provides direct access to the Razorback Greenway Trail. Amenities include modern accommodations,5,000 square feet of adaptable event space,and Falfurrias,a rooftop restaurant and bar showcasing regional cuisine.
The Seahaus Hotel, Tribute Portfolio (Atlantic City, New Jersey): Anticipated to open this summer, The Seahaus Hotel will be the first Tribute Portfolio hotel in the Atlantic City area and coury Hospitality’s debut property in New Jersey. The hotel offers 105 guest rooms,a pool,and Cocina del Mar,a restaurant serving breakfast,lunch,and dinner.
Rebranded & Renovated Properties (Fall 2024)
The Southlake Hotel (Southlake, Texas): Will be rebranded as The Elmore Hotel | tribute Portfolio. The Beeman Hotel (Dallas, Texas): Will be rebranded as The Mockingbird Hotel | tribute Portfolio.
* Marriott Westlake (Westlake, Texas): Will be rebranded as The Ricardo Marriott following an $18 million renovation.
