The food poisoning incidents have raised serious concerns about food safety standards and quality control within the MBG programme. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the contamination, and several schools have temporarily suspended the program.
Nanik explained that they’re working hard to identify what went wrong and prevent this from happening again. “We’re committed to ensuring the safety and health of our children,” she stated. “We won’t rest until we understand exactly what caused this and have put measures in place to protect them.”
The government has promised a thorough review of the MBG program, including stricter regulations and more frequent inspections of food preparation facilities. They also plan to provide medical assistance to all affected students and offer support to their families.
This isn’t the first time concerns have been raised about the MBG program. Past reports have highlighted issues with hygiene and food handling practices. This latest incident is likely to intensify calls for greater accountability and transparency in the program’s management.
