Dublin Fire Brigade Swiftly Responds to Love Tempo Fire

Yesterday evening, a fire broke out at the popular Dublin establishment Love Tempo, located on Thomas Street, drawing a quick and effective response from the Dublin Fire Brigade. The fire, which began around 5:30 pm, resulted in the temporary closure of Thomas Street to facilitate the work of emergency services. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

In an appreciative message shared on Instagram, Love Tempo expressed gratitude for the concern showered by customers and followers alike. The management stated, "Thank you so much to everyone for all your messages of concern regarding today’s fire." They further communicated the shock and relief shared among their team, noting, "We’re all a bit shaken but just relieved nobody was hurt. It will take a while to assess the damage but, unfortunately, it looks like we will be closed for some time."

Highlighting the commendable response from the emergency services, Love Tempo extended their thanks: "Thanks to Dublin Fire Brigade for their unbelievable work and to our amazing team for reacting so quickly." They assured the public of updates as more information becomes available, concluding their message with, "Much love."

Six fire engines were dispatched from Tara Street and Dolphins Barn fire stations to tackle the "serious" fire. A spokesperson for the Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed that firefighters from these stations were called to the scene, where breathing apparatus teams worked diligently to extinguish the flames. A turntable ladder was also deployed to assist the firefighting efforts.

In a meaningful acknowledgment of the bravery of the newly recruited firefighter, the spokesperson shared, "It was the first operational breathing apparatus wear for recruit firefighter Louise," underscoring the importance of new talent in emergency response roles.

As efforts continue to assess the damage and determine the timeline for reopening, the community looks forward to the safe return of Love Tempo to its vibrant role on Thomas Street. The incident serves as a testament to the professionalism and readiness of Dublin’s emergency services, whose swift actions ensured the safety of many and minimized potential harm during the crisis.
