The Government Delegation against Gender Violence confirmed this Monday the sexist nature of the murders of two women in Girona and Granada, bringing the number of women killed at the hands of their partners or ex-partners so far this year to 44; already 1228 since 2003.

The victim did not have minor children and there were no previous complaints of gender violence against the alleged aggressor.
The Ministry of Equality has also confirmed the sexist nature of the murder this Sunday of a 37-year-old woman in Granada, who was found dead with signs of violence after the suicide of her partner.
Around 5:30 p.m. this Sunday, several calls to 112 alerted the emergency service that a man between 30 and 40 years old had fallen from a balcony.
