Samsung starts Early Mass Production of Exynos 2600 Chipset
Jakarta – Samsung has officially begun mass production of its newest chipset, the Exynos 2600, ahead of schedule.This news comes from reports in Korean media and represents a important step forward for the technology giant following the underperformance of the Exynos 2500, originally intended for the Galaxy S25.
The Exynos 2500, built on a 3nm process, failed to meet expectations. As a result,Samsung was compelled to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite from Qualcomm globally for the Galaxy S25 series. Now, Samsung is fully focused on the Exynos 2600, which is manufactured using 2nm technology and is expected to power several Galaxy S26 models launching in January 2026.
Reports indicate that while mass production has commenced, initial yields are still being evaluated. Samsung is working to optimize the production process and improve efficiency. The company aims to regain its competitive edge in the mobile processor market with the Exynos 2600, offering improved performance and power efficiency compared to its predecessor.
