Ferrari drivers Lament Disappointing Brazilian Grand Prix
Ferrari’s hopes for a strong finish to the season took a hit at the Brazilian Grand Prix, with both charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton forced into retirement. Leclerc’s race ended abruptly on lap six after a collision with Oliver Bearman – a crash Leclerc insists wasn’t his fault. “It was a very difficult weekend in Sao Paulo,” Leclerc stated. “It’s disappointing for the team to return home with almost no points at a crucial moment when we’re fighting for second in the constructors’ championship.”
Leclerc understands the challenges ahead. “From now on, the road will be all uphill, and it’s clear that only unity can help us reverse this situation in the last three races. We will give our best, as always.”
Hamilton also experienced a frustrating end to his race, retiring on lap 39 due to a damaged rear wing. The incident forced a wing change, effectively ending his chances at Interlagos. This double retirement significantly impacts Ferrari’s pursuit of second place in the Constructors’ Championship, putting immense pressure on the team for the remaining races. They’ll need a flawless performance and a bit of luck to overcome this setback.
