Shohei Ohtani led the way, and Freddie Freeman delivered the decisive blow. The Los Angeles (LA) Dodgers secured a 2-1 series lead in the World Series (WS, best-of-seven) with a dramatic victory, fueled by Ohtani’s postseason-best ninth hit and Freeman’s walk-off home run – the first time a player has achieved this feat in consecutive World Series.

Ohtani showcased his remarkable talent with two home runs, four hits, and three RBIs, consistently driving the Dodgers’ offense. Freeman, however, sealed the win with a historic home run in the 18th inning, ending a marathon game and sending Dodger Stadium into a frenzy.
