Bayern Munich continued their perfect start to the Bundesliga season with a 3-0 victory over 10-man Borussia Monchengladbach. vincent Kompany’s side secured their eighth successive league win, breaking the deadlock against a resilient Monchengladbach after 72 minutes following Jens Castrop’s red card in the 18th minute.
Joshua Kimmich opened the scoring with his first goal of the campaign, followed by Raphael Guerreiro who doubled the lead. Lennart Karl then sealed the points with his first Bundesliga goal, just days after scoring his first senior goal for the club.
Bayern nearly took the lead in the first minute with a chance for Luis Diaz, but Monchengladbach’s task became significantly harder after Castrop’s challenge on Diaz was upgraded to a red card following a VAR review. Despite being a man down, the hosts continued to make life challenging for Bayern.

Bayern Munich secured a 3-0 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach in a Bundesliga match, overcoming a resilient performance from the hosts.
The first half saw Mönchengladbach goalkeeper Moritz Nicolas in inspired form, denying Bayern’s advances. A notable save came from Michael Olise, whose effort was initially blocked by Nicolas but then cleared off the line by Kevin Diks.
Harry Kane thought he had given Bayern the lead just after the hour mark, but the goal was disallowed for offside. Though, Bayern’s persistence paid off shortly after. Serge Gnabry found Joshua Kimmich, whose initial shot was blocked, but Kimmich capitalized on the rebound to finally break the deadlock.
Bayern doubled their advantage five minutes later when Raphaël Guerreiro expertly finished a pass from Olise, making it 2-0.
Mönchengladbach were then awarded a penalty after Tom Bischof was fouled by Kevin diks.Kevin Stöger took the spot-kick, but his effort struck the left post.
Bayern capitalized on the missed opportunity, extending their lead with a third goal. Lennart,who scored his first Bayern goal in midweek,followed up with another impressive strike,finding the top corner.
Jonas Urbig was in goal for Mönchengladbach.
