Cercle Nautique Verdunois Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Awareness

The Cercle nautique Verdunois demonstrated its commitment to breast cancer awareness this Saturday by hosting a Pink October fundraising event. Building on last year’s success with ergometers on the London quay, the club organized a variety of activities to support the League Against Cancer.

Dedicated volunteers sold pancakes and handcrafted items, including ribbons, scrunchies, and keychain dolls. Despite challenging weather conditions, members of the rowing club staged a parade on the Meuse River, commencing at 3:00 p.m.

The event successfully raised €215, which will be donated in full to the league Against Cancer to aid in thier vital research and support programs. This initiative highlights the Cercle Nautique Verdunois’s ongoing dedication to community involvement and health awareness.
