Jamestown Regional Medical Center Launches Opioid-Free Pain Management Clinic
Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) has launched a new pain management service line, offering a non-opioid approach to chronic pain relief. The clinic, which began seeing patients in January 2026, is a partnership with Holistic Pain Management (HPM) and aims to provide comprehensive, personalized care for a variety of conditions.
Addressing a Regional Need
The launch was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 25, 2026, attended by representatives from the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce, HPM, JRMC board members, and staff . JRMC CEO and President Mike Delfs emphasized the importance of addressing a long-standing need in the community for effective, non-addictive pain management solutions .
Personalized, Advanced Treatment Plans
JRMC Pain Management evaluates and treats chronic pain stemming from conditions such as arthritis, neck and spine issues, neuropathy, migraines, cancer, and post-surgical complications . Patients commence with a consultation with Morgan Croves, a nurse practitioner, to develop a tailored treatment plan.
Opioid-Free Approach
The clinic distinguishes itself by providing evidence-based treatment options that do not rely on opioid medications. These include collaborative therapies, nerve blocks, targeted injections, and other advanced interventional approaches . Procedures are performed onsite by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with specialized training in interventional pain management.
