Indonesian Stock Index Plunges,Falls below 8,000

Jakarta,CNBC Indonesia – The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) collapsed by more than 3.5% and fell below the 8,000 level in today’s trading,Monday (2025/10/27 16:28:46).

By the end of trading, the JCI correction was cut to -1.87% or 154.57 points, closing at 8,117.15. A total of 506 shares declined, 234 rose, and 216 remained unchanged. Trading volume reached IDR 28.68 trillion, with 37.95 billion shares traded in 2.85 million transactions.

According to Refinitiv,only the health sector showed gains,while all other sectors experienced declines. The energy sector fell the most.
