To succeed in the AI revolution, we must build a robust infrastructure capable of supporting its demands. This isn’t just about software; it’s about the physical foundations that enable AI to function. This infrastructure includes three core components: dependable energy sources,advanced data transmission systems,and the data centers that provide the necessary computing power and storage.
Dependable Energy
AI models, particularly those used for large language models and complex simulations, require enormous amounts of electricity. The U.S. Energy Information Administration details the increasing demand for electricity and the need for diverse energy sources.
