## The pieS the limit for macaroni and cheese lovers.
Fall is the time of year when people love to indulge in comfort foods – especially with Thanksgiving around the corner – and Kraft has combined two favorites to create a unique new meal.
The brand new apple Pie-flavored Kraft Mac & Cheese combines “two of the most iconic Thanksgiving dishes” to create a “sweet and savory” concoction.
Kraft’s Apple Pie flavor satisfies the flavor trend that “feels both familiar and adventurous,” said Cheryl Barbee, Communications Director, Kraft Mac & Cheese at The Kraft Heinz Company, in a statement, combining the creamy cheese with the cinnamon and tart green apple notes
It might seem odd to eat a sweet-flavored mac and cheese, but this combination isn’t exactly new.In many regions of America, and also Canada and the UK, people traditionally top their slice of apple pie with a slice of cheese. The Kraft Mac & Cheese Apple Pie is available nationwide for a limited time while supplies last, available at Walmart.
Kraft Mac & Cheese is Getting a Major Makeover – And Fans Have Thoughts
Kraft Mac & Cheese is undergoing its first brand refresh in over a decade, and the internet is already buzzing. The iconic blue box is getting a new look, ditching the classic typography and imagery for a more modern aesthetic.

The updated box features a more playful,noodle-centric design. The familiar photo of perfectly plated macaroni and cheese has been replaced with a dynamic illustration of the noodles themselves, swirling and steaming. The Kraft logo has also been simplified, and the color palette has been slightly adjusted.
“We know that Mac & Cheese is a staple for families across the country, and we wanted to update the packaging to reflect the joy and comfort that it brings,” said a Kraft spokesperson in a press release. “The new design is modern, playful, and still instantly recognizable as Kraft Mac & Cheese.”
Though, not everyone is thrilled with the changes. Social media is flooded with reactions, ranging from nostalgia-fueled disappointment to cautious optimism. Many fans expressed their attachment to the original box, arguing that it was a comforting symbol of their childhood.
“Why mess with perfection?” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “The old box was iconic!”
Others were more open to the refresh, praising the new design for being more visually appealing.
“I actually really like the new look,” another user commented. “It feels more modern and fun.”
The new packaging will begin appearing on shelves in January 2026.Despite the mixed reactions, Kraft is confident that the refresh will resonate with both longtime fans and a new generation of macaroni and cheese lovers.
