Lauren Goodger Hints at Celibacy Following Heartbreak and Loss

Lauren Goodger appeared to hint at celibacy as she attended a children’s event on Saturday, following a challenging period marked by personal loss and heartbreak. The TOWIE star,who shares four-year-old Larose with her ex,charles Drury,arrived at the event in a black leather jacket and trousers paired with white New Balance trainers.

Earlier this month, Goodger shared a post to her instagram Story discussing why women choose to remain celibate. The post read: ‘The longer a woman stays celibate, the idea of someone touching her who doesn’t meet her mental, physical, and spiritual wants and needs will literally make her feel sick. She’s no longer willing to settle for meaningless exchanges or relationships that don’t serve and nourish her soul.’

Goodger has previously spoken about periods of celibacy. In 2019, she posted on Instagram – and quickly deleted – that she “didn’t have sex for 2 years.” She repeated the statement on her Instagram Stories the following year, again deleting the post within two hours.

The past few years have been particularly challenging for Goodger.In 2022,she gave birth to Lorena,who tragically died shortly after birth due to the umbilical cord being wrapped around her neck. Goodger revealed she was rushed to the hospital during labour when her midwife couldn’t detect a heartbeat.
