Flood risks

The situation will be very rough and even dangerous on the coast with wind and strong swells, reaching 10 to 12 m on Wednesday and Thursday.

Steven Tual also calls for vigilance regarding the risk of flooding on several rivers including the Loire and the Vilaine watersheds. We should not experience a situation similar to the big floods of January 2025, but the border is shrinking and certain municipalities like Redon and its surroundings are at risk.“, he says.

Two flooded roads north of Loire-Atlantique

On the traffic side, two roads were cut this Tuesday, February 10 in the north of Loire-Atlantique due to flooding. This is the D255, linking Massérac and Avessac, at the latter commune. The other road is the D125, a road linking the municipalities of La Chapelle-de-Brain and Massérac.
