Miney Fox of Knockalougha, Departures on December 6th 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Miney Fox, formerly of The Hill, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. Miney peacefully departed this life on Friday, December 6th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry. He had been bravely facing a brief illness.
A cherished husband to Clare, Miney was a devoted father to Martin and Amie. He was a loving son to his mother Nancy, and a treasured brother to Johnny, Maurice, Jer, Mary (Curtin), Bridget (McNamara), Hannah (O’Connor), Noreen (Murphy), and Anna-Marie. Miney was immensely proud of his role as a grandfather to Oisín, Holly, Grace, Tadgh and Fíadh.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter-in-law Deirdre, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Sunday, December 8th from 5.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m.
The funeral cortège will depart his mother Nancy’s residence, The Hill, Abbeyfeale on Monday, December 9th at 10.00 a.m. to The Church of the Assumption Abbeyfeale, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.
