The Prototype Cup Germany delivered a thrilling spectacle at the Norisring this saturday, with Valentino Catalano and Oscar Tunjo emerging victorious after a demanding race characterized by intense battles and challenging track conditions. The duo, representing Badischer Motorsport Club, skillfully navigated the tight and twisty Norisring circuit to claim the top spot, finishing ahead of a competitive field.

The race saw a fierce contest for the lead, with Danny soufi and Pavel lefterov, piloting the Konrad Motorsport entry, finishing a close second.Thier performance underscored the high level of competition within the series, where fractions of a second can determine the outcome. Danny Soufi reflected on a challenging race, stating, “The start wasn’t exactly as planned, but it was a hard-fought, clean battle with Valentino for the lead. the rest of my stint was demanding, but the team’s strategy was excellent, allowing me to hand over the car in a strong position.”

Pavel Lefterov acknowledged the strength of their competition, saying, “Today, winning was simply unattainable, despite our best efforts. However, securing second place allowed us to maximize our championship points, which is our primary focus at this stage.”

Riccardo Lionelli commented on the unique challenges of the Norisring, “my start was good, although my outside starting position for the first corner presented a difficulty, given the proximity of the walls. we made good progress and are moving in the right direction.”

Mattias Bjerre Jakobsen admitted to a tough driver change, stating, “My first lap after the driver change wasn’t ideal, and we struggled to gain a position.Nevertheless, third place is a solid result and helps us regain momentum.”
