Pop star Rihanna’s Beverly Crest home in Los Angeles was the target of a shooting on Sunday, March 9, 2026. A 35-year-old Florida woman, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. On Sunday. Multiple rounds of gunfire struck the residence while Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky, and their three children were reportedly inside NBC Los Angeles. No injuries were reported.

Ortiz was arrested approximately three miles away from Rihanna’s home in Sherman Oaks, following a traffic stop. Police followed her Tesla with an LAPD helicopter into a mall parking garage where she was detained ABC News.
