Robbie Williams concert in Bulgaria Marred by Bribery Allegations

The recent Robbie Williams concert in bulgaria has been overshadowed by allegations of corruption involving employees of the internal Audit Executive Agency (IAAA). Traicho Traikov, the mayor of Sredets, publicly addressed the incident on his Facebook page, detailing claims of attempted extortion from the singerS team.

According to Traikov’s post, officials from the General Directorate for National Construction Control (GDNCC) – referred to as “GAI” in his statement – halted the concert’s production in Novi Han and demanded a bribe of 700 euros to allow the show to proceed. Traikov characterized the actions as a blatant attempt at corruption and highlighted the disruption caused to the event.

This incident has sparked public outrage and calls for a thorough examination into the allegations. Bulgarian authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the claims, but the situation is developing and is being closely monitored by local media and fans alike. The allegations threaten to tarnish the reputation of the concert and raise concerns about corruption within Bulgarian regulatory bodies.
