The wait is over. Asus has officially unveiled the much-anticipated ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, engineered with improved ergonomics and an upgraded thermal design for longer gaming sessions and a smoother Xbox experience in handheld form.
The hype began on April Fool’s Day this year when Asus released a promotional video teasing a mysterious handheld device,fueling speculation of an Xbox-branded console.
“With ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, we are combining the best of AMD’s silicon, Asus’ design expertise and Xbox’s gaming ecosystem,” says Jack Huynh, senior vice president and general manager of AMD’s computing and graphics group.
