Trump Briefly Pauses Antifa Roundtable for Middle East Deal Update
WASHINGTON (AP) – President Donald Trump was leading a roundtable discussion with conservative influencers regarding antifa on Wednesday when Secretary of State Marco Rubio, positioned at teh back of the White House’s Blue Room, got his attention.
Rubio indicated he had crucial news for Trump, but it would have to wait until the media departed.He then handed the president a note.

photographers covering the event quickly focused on the handwritten message on White House stationery.it read, “You need to approve a Truth Social post soon so you can announce deal first.”
“I was just given a note by the secretary of state saying that we’re very close to a deal on the Middle East, and they’re going to need me pretty quickly,” Trump announced. “So we’ll take a couple more questions.”
The event with influencers had been underway for over an hour when Rubio first approached. The president invited him to join, and Rubio quietly spoke to Trump before passing him the note.
