Son Delivers Heartbreaking Letter to Bali Court in Radmanovic Murder Case

Denpasar, Bali – The son of Zivan “Stipe” Radmanovic, the Melbourne man fatally shot at a Bali villa in June 2025, delivered a poignant letter to the Denpasar District Court on Monday, February 2, 2026, detailing the family’s enduring grief. Radmanovic, 32, was killed at Villa Casa Santisya in Munggu, allegedly during an ambush while his wife was present. His friend, Sanar Ghanim, 34, was seriously injured in the same incident.

In the letter, Radmanovic’s son expressed his bravery in returning to the location where his father was killed. “I came to the island where you were taken from us — not by your own choice, but because a man ordered three others to commit a crime and brutally shot you, stealing your life away,” the letter read. “I took a brave step to come to the last place you were on this earth.” He lamented the inability to say goodbye and imagined his father’s struggle for life.

Ongoing Grief and Loss

The letter detailed the profound impact of Radmanovic’s death on his family. “This past year has left mum, your daughters, and me with a deep and overwhelming grief,” he wrote. “Some days we endeavor to be strong, but most days we struggle because we no longer have you in our lives.” He noted how media coverage of the trial had overshadowed cherished memories and how celebrations would never be the same.

“Life feels so fragile now, and this loss has left a permanent scar on our hearts,” the son continued. He concluded by vowing to continue fighting for justice for his father, hoping for peace.

The “Bali 3” on Trial

Three Australian men – Darcy Jenson, 27, Mevlut Coskun, 22, and Paea I Middlemore Tupou, 26 – have been charged in connection with Radmanovic’s alleged murder, earning them the moniker “Bali 3.” Police investigations revealed Coskun and Tupou allegedly carried out the shooting, forcibly entering the villa and fleeing on motorbikes after the attack.

Jenson, a Sydney plumber, is accused of aiding in the planning and execution of the attack, including arranging accommodation, and transportation. He has claimed he was misled by a “manipulative Australian national” into making bookings without knowledge of the alleged plot. According to reports, Jenson stated he used his personal identification openly, unaware of any criminal activity.

Investigation and Arrests

The trio has been in custody for over eight months. Initial reports indicated police collected 17 bullet casings, two intact bullets, and 55 fragments from the crime scene. Witnesses reported hearing the shooters speak with strong Australian accents.

Police initially announced arrests in June 2025, with two suspects apprehended in Jakarta and abroad. Public prosecutors have indicated the men are suspected of premeditated murder and attempted premeditated murder against Ghanim. The men are expected to learn their fate soon.
