Valve has increased the width of store pages to 1200 pixels. According to Valve, this provides a better balance between displaying more content and maintaining easy navigation. The update extends beyond individual game pages, with wider layouts also implemented for search results, recommendation pages, Steam Charts, the News Hub, and store hubs, creating a more consistent visual experience across the platform.
Enhanced Media Viewing Options
The update introduces several improvements to how trailers and screenshots are viewed:
* Theater Mode: A new large pop-up view, dubbed “theater mode,” is now available within the carousel for a more immersive trailer experience.
* Full-Screen Mode: users can now view trailers and screenshots in full-screen mode.
* Improved Formatting: The “About the Game” section has been updated with new formatting options for better institution and readability.
