Teacher Arrested After Alleged Assault at Sam’s Club Over Rotisserie Chicken

A 42-year-old teacher from North Carolina has been arrested and charged with assault after allegedly punching another woman in the face at a Sam’s Club in South Carolina on Valentine’s Day. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute over rotisserie chickens and involved a racial slur, according to authorities.

Details of the Incident

The Richland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a possible assault at the Sam’s Club located on Fashion Drive in Columbia, South Carolina, at approximately 1:15 p.m. On February 14, 2026 Law & Crime.
