As of July 7th, authorities continue intensive search and rescue operations, having already assisted over 800 people, many requiring helicopter extraction.

The Guadalupe River in Kerrville experienced a shocking surge, rising an astounding 26 feet in under an hour on Friday morning, according to Mayor Joe Herring. A Disaster Relief Unit,equipped with essential supplies,departed from the Southwest Ministry Center in north Texas on Monday,establishing a staging area at Community Bible Church in San Antonio.
