From Wednesday, November 6th to Sunday, November 10th, this majestic ship will be docked at Cape Panwa, offering a rare opportunity for visitors to step aboard and immerse themselves in Italian heritage and culture.

Visitors can register for guided tours of the Amerigo Vespucci, experiencing its grandeur firsthand. Two tours will be available each day at 10 am and 3 pm, with an additional tour at 4 pm on Wednesday.

Launched in 1931, the Amerigo Vespucci began its momentous 20-month world tour in July 2023, making 15 stops along the way. This voyage is dedicated to showcasing Italian culture and training future generations of sailors. For the first time in two decades, the ship, named after the renowned 16th-century explorer, has ventured beyond Italian waters, bringing a piece of European history to Phuket.

The Amerigo Vespucci is a true marvel of engineering, a full-rigged three-masted steel hull. Spanning 82.4 meters in length, it reaches an overall length of 101 meters when including the bowsprit, with a maximum width of 15.5 meters.
Powered by auxiliary diesel-electric propulsion, it can reach a speed of 10 knots and boasts a remarkable range of 5,450 nautical miles. Under sail in challenging sea and wind conditions, its speed can soar to 12 knots.
