USC Early Action Admissions: Class of 2030 Numbers Revealed

The University of southern California has released its early action admissions decisions for the incoming class of 2030, accepting approximately 3,800 students. This marks a notable step in the university’s admissions cycle, offering a glimpse into the academic profile of the future Trojan community.

According to a statement provided to Annenberg Media,USC received over 40,000 applications under the November 1st deadline. The resulting early action acceptance rate stands at approximately 9.5%, demonstrating the continued competitiveness of USC admissions.

USC anticipates admitting an additional 5,000 students through regular decision in March, bringing the total expected enrollment for the fall of 2030 to around 8,800 students.

The introduction of early action applications at USC began in the fall of 2022, providing students with an earlier chance to receive an admissions decision. For the class of 2025, the early action acceptance rate was 8.4%, resulting in the acceptance of roughly 3,500 students. USC ultimately admitted 8,700 students for fall 2025 and an additional 2,200 for spring admission. Prior to that, approximately 3,000 students were admitted early action for the class of 2028.
