Teenager in Critical Condition After Violent Stabbing on Public Bus in Joondalup

A teenage boy remains in critical condition following a violent stabbing incident on a public bus in Perth’s northern suburbs on Saturday afternoon. The attack occurred around 4pm on Grand Boulevard near Boas Ave in Joondalup, prompting an immediate emergency response.

Incident Details and Emergency Response

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 4pm, with St John Ambulance crews arriving within five minutes. Multiple ambulances were dispatched to manage the situation. The victim was found unconscious and in critical condition after being dragged from the bus and stabbed. He was transported under Priority 1 conditions to Joondalup Health Campus before being transferred to Royal Perth Hospital for further treatment.

A second teenage boy was also taken to Joondalup Health Campus with minor injuries and has since been discharged. Two other teenagers who were nearby fled the scene and sought refuge at a nearby home, reportedly shaken and terrified by the incident.
