WWE Unveils Exciting New Program to Support Independent Wrestling Talent
WWE is stepping up to support the vibrant independent wrestling scene with the launch of its innovative WWE ID program. This initiative, similar to WWE’s Next in Line program for college athletes, aims to provide aspiring wrestlers with a pathway to potentially join WWE.
Partnering with Renowned Training Schools
WWE has forged strategic partnerships with several prominent independent wrestling schools, including:

- Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Academy (Davenport, Iowa)
- Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center (Concord, N.H.)
- KnokX Pro Academy (Los Angeles)
These schools, designated as “WWE ID independent wrestling schools,” will receive enhanced resources and opportunities to nurture new talent.
Identifying Top Prospects
WWE ID will also actively identify standout independent wrestling prospects, granting them an official “WWE ID prospect” designation. These selected individuals will receive invaluable support, including:
- Financial assistance
- Training mentorship
- Access to world-class facilities
- Expert ring training
- Guidance from athletic trainers
WWE’s commitment extends beyond financial aid, providing fans with exclusive behind-the-scenes content, highlights, and matches showcasing the progress of these promising prospects.
Triple H’s Vision
Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, expressed his admiration for the talent on the independent scene:
“The level of talent on the independent scene is incredible. They’re grinding away to make their dream a reality, and I’m excited for WWE to be on the forefront of supporting their journeys. @WWEID is here to help identify, support and build the next generation of WWE Superstars.”
