Sebastian Fliehr: Life as the Stepson of Wrestling Legend Ric Flair
Sebastian Fliehr, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, recently released his first music video, “Goth Girl at Bar,” in June. Both Sebastian’s mother and Ric, who announced their split after 13 years in September, actively promoted the video on their social media platforms.
During a recent TV interview, Sebastian opened up about his unique upbringing alongside the wrestling icon, whose real name is Richard Fliehr.
Growing Up in the Spotlight
“Growing up with Ric as a stepdad, it was very different, very unique, that’s for sure,” Sebastian said. “You go out for a family meal and you’re just surrounded by fans and you’re already exposed to that at an early age, everybody coming up, wanting pictures, autographs, stuff like that.”
The singer further elaborated on the unconventional experiences he had growing up in Ric Flair’s world. “I mean, what kid has Post Malone coming over to the house and having dinner with the family? Darius Rucker pulled up with his big tour bus one time.”
Sebastian’s story highlights the incredible impact Ric Flair has had both inside and outside the wrestling ring.
