Yacht Engineer Charged in Death of Crew Member in the Bahamas
A 39-year-old engineer working aboard the luxury yacht Far From It has been charged with murder following the death of a 21-year-old crew member. The incident occurred while the vessel was docked near Harbour Island in the Bahamas on July 3rd.The victim, identified as Paige Bell, was found partially undressed with fatal slit wounds to the neck. Evidence suggests a struggle, with injuries to her hands indicating she attempted to defend herself.
Authorities responding to the scene also discovered the engineer, Bridgeido Musos, with injuries to his hands, potentially consistent with a suicide attempt. He has been hospitalized and formally accused of the crime, with a court denying bail. Musos will remain in custody pending a hearing scheduled for November 20th.
Both Bell and Musos were employed on the Far From It, a yacht that rents for approximately $140,000 per week. investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
