Ukrainian Metal Band 1914 to Perform in Latvia, Promoting Critically Acclaimed Album
The Ukrainian death/doom/black metal band 1914 will perform in Latvia as part of their European tour, “Karš kas nekad nebaisas” (“The War That Never Ends”). The band, formed in Lviv in 2014 – a century after the beginning of World War I – draws lyrical inspiration from the conflict.

About 1914
1914 has released four albums throughout its career. The band’s music blends elements of death, doom, and black metal, with lyrics centered around the themes of World War I. The band’s name itself is a direct reference to the year the war began.
The concert will feature Danish heavy music band KATLA as special guests.
