Bandido Suffers Another Injury After AEW/ROH Return

AEW/ROH star Bandido’s comeback journey took a heartbreaking turn just weeks after returning to action. After being sidelined since June 2023 due to a wrist injury, Bandido returned at ROH Final Battle on December 21, 2024. However, his triumphant return was short-lived.

Earlier in 2024, vignettes aired on AEW television, hyping Bandido’s highly anticipated comeback. Sadly, reports emerged indicating Bandido suffered a concussion during the ROH event. Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com revealed the details:

“We are told Bandido did suffer a concussion Friday night from landing on the back of his head doing a missile dropkick after the Chris Jericho win over Matt Cardona,. Obviously Jericho vs. Bandido was scheduled in an ROH title match at some point. With concussions, you don’t know what it means as far as how long someone will be out of action.”

This unfortunate setback adds another layer of disappointment to Bandido’s comeback story. Fans eagerly awaited his return, but now, he faces yet another road to recovery. The severity and duration of the concussion are currently unknown, leaving uncertainty surrounding his future appearances.
