Summer is not over if there is no party. And the weekend that is about to arrive, the last of the month of August 2025 is incredibly rich. There are really manny country festivals, traditional celebrations and gourmet events with wine tastings that take place on the weekend in all regions of Italy.

If you are on vacation in those areas (for example in Sicily and Sardinia there are several) or if you are returning home you want to review your friends in front of a good dish, here are the appointments we have selected.

From 27 to 30 August, near Cabras, the ancient religious tradition of the feast in honor of Sant’Agostino will be renewed. They transport the simulacrum of the Saint from Nurachi to San Giovanni di Sinis, crossing Cabras in procession and covering a journey of approximately 20 km as a votive act.
