Cybill Shepherd was the blonde beauty who ruled Hollywood in the 1970s and 1980s.

Her film debut was playing pinup Jacy Farrow in director Peter Bogdanovich’s drama The Last Picture Show (1971).

The Memphis-born actress also appeared as Kelly in Elaine May’s “The Heartbreak Kid” (1972), Betsy in Martin Scorsese’s “Taxi Driver” (1976), and Nancy in Woody Allen’s “Alice” (1990).

Then came massive TV fame.

Shepherd played Madelyn Hayes on the detective comedy-drama Moonlighting (1985 to 1989) opposite Bruce willis.
And she got her own show: she played Cybill Sheridan on Cybill (1995 to 1998).Her more recent TV roles include Phyllis Kroll on “The L Word” (2007-2009), Madeleine Spencer on “Psych” (2008-2013), and Cassie in the television movie “The Client List” (2010).
She is now taking on a new role: performing in a cabaret. “An Evening With CYBILL SHEPHERD: Music, Conversation & Stories” is set to take place on October 17 and 18 at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood.
