One Dies in Makassar DPRD Fire During Protest

Makassar, CNN indonesia – One person died in a fire at the Makassar DPRD (Regional People’s Representative Council) building in south Sulawesi on Friday, August 29th. The fire occurred during a demonstration showing solidarity for Ojol Affan Kuniawan, who was fatally crushed by a Brimob (Mobile Brigade) Rantis vehicle in Jakarta.

The victim has been identified as syaiful, the Head of the People’s Welfare Section (Kasi Kesra) of Ujung Tanah District.
