Jakarta, CNN Indonesia — The iPhone 17 Series and iPhone Air are reportedly launching in Indonesia in October. The latest information suggests Apple’s flagship phones will be available in the country on October 17.
This leak comes from Apple enthusiast Bagus Hernawan, who shared the news on X (formerly Twitter). He claims this will be the fastest iPhone release in Indonesia since its global launch.

“It seems this year will set a new record for the fastest iPhone release! The iPhone 17 series. October 17, 2025. pre-orders begin October 10,” he wrote on Monday (September 29).
Hernawan also estimates the new iPhone series will start at Rp17 million for the base model and reach Rp42 million for the moast expensive variant.
CNNIndonesia.com has reached out to Apple for confirmation, but has not yet received a response.
previously, the Ministry of Industry estimated the iPhone 17 would arrive in Indonesia in early October 2025.
“Yes, it should be settled in early October, God willing. At the latest, within two weeks from now,” saeid Heru Kustanto, Head of the Center for Improvement of Domestic Products (P3DN) at the Ministry of Industry, on September 11 in South Jakarta.
Heru made the statement while reviewing the TKDN (Domestic Content Level) certification process for the iPhone 17. The certificate issued by the Ministry of Industry has as been published.
“Ther are four TKDN certificates for iPhone 17 products under PT Apple Indonesia, issued on Thursday, September 11, 2025,” according to an announcement received by CNNIndonesia.com on Friday, September 12.
