Uber Eats has launched the newest iteration of its UK brand platform, when You’ve Done Enough, uber Eats, featuring academy Award-nominated actor Jude Law in a television spot.

The one-minute film, created by Mother and directed by David Shane, playfully references Law’s history of roles in romantic comedies. The ad follows him through London, presenting a series of classic “meet-cute” scenarios – bumping into someone with boxes, a lingering look in a bookstore, a chance encounter with a fellow dog owner. Though, rather of embracing thes potentially romantic moments, Law’s character deliberately walks away, suggesting he’s had his fill of romantic comedy tropes and simply “done enough.”

“It was great fun poking fun at myself in this way,” Law commented.

uber Eats Launches New Campaign Featuring Jude Law

Uber Eats has released a new commercial featuring actor Jude Law, continuing the brand platform introduced earlier this year with Javier Bardem in “Evil’d Enough.” The campaign centers around the idea that even iconic actors need downtime and can enjoy it more easily with Uber Eats.

Campaign Concept & Creative Direction

The commercial depicts Jude Law, known for his roles in films like the Sherlock Holmes series and The Talented Mr. ripley, embracing a relaxed moment at home. The humor lies in the contrast between his established on-screen persona and the relatable messiness of enjoying a casual meal – specifically, chicken wings with hot sauce. The ad playfully acknowledges that even a refined actor can’t make eating messy food look graceful.

Both commercials in this campaign feature well-known actors who have extensively portrayed signature roles, now shown as ready too step back and enjoy downtime facilitated by Uber Eats. This strategy aims to connect with audiences by showcasing a human side to celebrities and positioning uber Eats as a convenient way to enhance everyday relaxation.
