Voters can verify their assigned polling station through OCMA’s e-service or by contacting the Central Election Commission hotline. If a voter finds their initially assigned polling station inaccessible on election day, they may request a change to another polling station within Latvia or abroad. This option was available from March 16 to May 7, 2019, for the 2019 European Parliament elections. Changes could be submitted online via OCMA’s e-service for polling station changes or in person at any local government office responsible for residence declarations. These procedures reflect Latvia’s commitment to accessible and resilient electoral processes, ensuring that voters retain the ability to participate even when standard registration systems face challenges.
