Table of Contents
Pangea Collective has announced the return of its Freeride Film Tour, a ten-stop cinematic showcase spotlighting the year’s most compelling stories in skiing and snowboarding. After a accomplished debut last winter, the 2025 edition expands to more cities, more voices, and more moments that capture the essence of life in the mountains.
From Revelstoke to Mammoth, the tour will feature ten brand-new films from Pangea Collective’s roster of athletes and filmmakers including Ross Tester, Taylor Dobyns, Sam Dallaire, Seth Hill, Yu Sasaki, Carson Sharp, Jonathan Penfield, Claire Hewitt-Demeyer, Holden Samuels, Kendall Goodman, and Jérémie “Jepaq” Paquette. Each project offers a window into the freeride world, its intensity, vulnerability, and evolving sense of community.
“The Film Tour is one of the highlights of our year,” Pangea collective co-founder Ethan Herman says. “It’s a chance for our athletes to share what they’ve been working on last season, connect with their local communities, and celebrate the start of another winter.”

Pangea Freeride Film Tour Brings Mountain Culture to a Town Near You
The Pangea Freeride Film Tour is hitting the road again, bringing a curated collection of mountain films to communities across North america. More than just a showcase of unbelievable riding, Pangea aims to foster connection and celebrate the culture surrounding freeriding.
What Sets Pangea Apart?
Unlike customary action sports tours focused on competition, Pangea prioritizes storytelling and community. The films featured aren’t about who wins, but about the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of the riders and the landscapes they explore. This approach amplifies voices that might otherwise stay local.
The films are built on connection, not competition. They highlight the emotional range of mountain life: the heartbreak of injury, the patience of waiting for conditions, the quiet joy of a perfect turn.
Pangea’s team captures that duality with honesty,a balance between cinematic beauty and human imperfection. The result is a lineup that feels as alive as the riders it features.
Each screening also serves as a community event. expect local athlete appearances, live Q&A sessions, and gear giveaways from partner brands. It’s a night that blends film, friendship, and the anticipation of winter, a reminder of what brings freeriders together long before the first snowfall.

What is Freeride Storytelling?
Freeride storytelling is the art of conveying emotion, intent, and a narrative through your line choice, style, and execution. It’s about making your run more than just a series of turns – it’s about creating a visual and emotional experience for both yourself and anyone watching. A good freeride story has a beginning, a middle, and an end, with rising and falling action. It
