The UCLA Bruins continued their reign as gymnastics powerhouses, securing their second consecutive Big Ten Women’s Gymnastics Championship on March 21, 2026, in Champaign, Illinois. The Bruins posted a total score of 198.100, remaining undefeated in Big Ten competition since joining the conference.

Chiles Shines with Record-Breaking Performance

UCLA’s Jordan Chiles delivered a stellar performance, winning the all-around title with a conference-record score of 39.825. She also earned a perfect 10 on floor exercise, marking her seventh perfect score of the season. Chiles was named Big Ten Gymnast of the Year for her outstanding achievements.

Bruins Sweep Individual Titles

UCLA’s success extended beyond the all-around competition. Riley Jenkins tied for the vault title with a career-high score of 9.950. They achieved a team score of 196.000 at the Big Ten Championships, marking their 16th consecutive meet with a score of 196.000 or higher. The Nittany Lions placed third in their session, competing against Iowa, Ohio State, and Maryland.

Throughout the championships, several gymnasts delivered exceptional routines. UCLA’s Chae Campbell was the 2025 all-around champion with a score of 39.725. Olivia Zsarmani from Michigan State recorded a 9.975 on vault, while Nebraska’s Emma Spence earned a 9.975 on uneven bars. UCLA’s Ciena Alipio and Michigan State’s Gabrielle Stephen were co-champions on balance beam with perfect 10s, and UCLA’s Brooklyn Moors and Jordan Chiles tied for first place on floor exercise, also with perfect 10s.
