the Seattle Seahawks held off their NFC West rival, the Arizona Cardinals, in a 23-20 victory on the road on Thursday night.
The Seahawks improved to 3-1 to start the early season, while the Cardinals fell to 2-2.
There wasn’t much coming from the Cardinals’ offense in this game, but the fourth quarter made the game very captivating as Kyler Murray finally got some momentum going.

The Seattle Seahawks won against the Arizona Cardinals in a hard-fought divisional game.
The game wasn’t a high-scoring affair, as both defenses played well. However, quarterback Sam Darnold led two touchdown drives. he connected with tight end A.J. Barner for a 16-yard touchdown, the team’s first points. Running back Zach Charbonnet then ran the ball into the end zone in the second quarter, giving the Seahawks a 14-3 lead at halftime.
Both teams added a field goal in the third quarter. The fourth quarter became very exciting.
Darnold completed 18 of 26 passes for 242 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the receiving corps with 79 yards on four catches. Kenneth Walker III led the rushing attack with 81 yards on 19 carries, while Charbonnet had 39 yards on 12 carries.
