Los Angeles Press Club Announces 68th Southern California Journalism Awards and New Prizes
The Los Angeles Press Club has officially opened submissions for its 68th Southern California Journalism Awards. This year’s contest features expanded categories, particularly in entertainment reporting and column writing. The club is launching two new prizes: The A-Mark Prize for Reporting on Misinformation and Disinformation and the Tatiana Schlossberg Environmental Cash Award.
Awards and Prizes
Journalists can enter the Southern California Journalism Awards contest at no cost, with winners potentially receiving up to $5,000. The A-Mark Prize will recognize outstanding reporting on misinformation and disinformation. The Tatiana Schlossberg Environmental Cash Award, sponsored by author, scholar and professor Angela Aleiss, will award $1,000 for rigorous reporting on responses to environmental problems and their supporting evidence.

National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards
The Los Angeles Press Club also recently celebrated the winners of its 18th National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards.
